Clark Hunt, chairman and CEO of the Chiefs, outlined the project's scope, estimating the stadium at $3 billion, the practice facility at $300 million, and a mixed-use district with at least $700 million invested in both Olathe and Wyandotte County.
The funding split is 60-40, with private monies covering 40% of the $3.3 billion total. Governor Kelly highlighted the economic impact, predicting 20,000 jobs and over $4 billion in economic impact during construction.
